The gite is situated between the Chateau of Duras and the Bastide of Eymet, where there are many bars, restaurants and shops for you to enjoy. The house is just a short distance from the Lescouroux lake where you can spend the day fishing, canooing or enjoying an afternoon walk. The  Lac de L'Escourou is a dam and irrigation lake. It is a very large water reservoir of nearly 120 hectares. The banks are wooded, which makes hiking very pleasant in all seasons. There are information panels about the lake, its environment, its fauna and flora.
